Evil, disgusting, and very, very sad. Unnecessary.

Here’s where the sausage in Mississippi schools comes from

  1. Reblogged this on Ode to my big fat cat and commented:
Despite living in a country where 30% of the population is vegetarian, I’m often asked about my vegetarianism. “Why are you vegetarian?” The frequency of such questions increases when I travel abroad, “Can you even get fat on vegetarian food?” “Where do you get your proteins from?”. And if I had 50 Rupees for every time somebody told me, “You don’t know what you’re missing.” I’d be able to buy myself those expensive Adidas running shoes I’ve been eyeing.

I avoid getting into debates over this lifestyle choice. There are people that sympathize and there are people that don’t. The people that don’t, won’t care either way. As for the people that do, unless they have taken to vegetarianism, the sympathy is only half-hearted. Sure, they may feel it intensely at that moment, but if the words don’t translate into action, the debate will remain purely an academic exercise and for me, a waste of energy and emotion.

Despite my silence, I know exactly what I’m missing and what I’m gaining in return. I have no wish to partake in such obvious suffering of other living beings. The argument, “…but even Hitler was a vegetarian!” just won’t cut it. Its not what Hitler did, or what the world is doing. Its about what you are doing.

  2. I seen this footage it seems to me he’s being extremely cruel aren’t they supposed to stun them in the heads not across the back, he did it so much the skin was red I wish I could do it to him I did sign a petition with Peta to get the school to stop buying from this company
